...is splendid on clear summer nights. Though this is not a photo of our views of the MW from The Camp, this is a similar view of what we see. Over our camp is The Big Dipper and along the eastern shore of camp, looking into the heavens, we can see The Milky Way. It travels north to south during the season so by early winter we've lost sight of it.
We love watching satellites travel and it's a popular game to see who can spot the first satellite of the evening. Occasionally we see jets flying at high altitudes, and it's fun to imagine where they're headed.
Here the ocean is a wonder but so is the night sky.
Glad you could visit. Welcome! We're The Leightons, Barry and Jacquie, and we're hosting this blog. We'll share photos, stories, and information about our little corner of the world. Our family and guests travel from far away to experience Bayview, The Camp, the blueberries, white-tail deer, lobster, the fields, and wooded trails. Your Comments are welcome. Type in your email address to receive updates to the blog. ...the way life should be.
